    Oh, and this great quote from another French swimmer:

    “A fingertip did the victory,” said Amaury Leveaux, one of the French swimmers. “It is nothing.”

    I beg to differ: It is the difference between gold and silver, which is most definitely not “nothing.”

    That was simply outstanding. It’s going to be hard to find a better moment than that one, even with most of the games ahead of us.

    It sure will. I don’t anticipate any of the basketball games being this close (but you never know). Still, seeing a Coach K-led US squad mounting the podium and taking the gold would rival it.

    And maybe Lopez Lomong medaling in the 1500 meters too…
