Four Fatalities Now

I had heard at lunch that another victim of yesterday’s bus crash was on life support and not expected to make it.

Unfortunately, I just read that there are now four fatalities with the passing of 17-year-old Crystal Renee McCrary a short time ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends as well.

Off subject a lot here but I have heard several rumors of Nick Saban being announced as Shula’s replacement. It should come out either before or after the Dolphin’s game on Thursday.

Thanks Jon, that’s the first I had heard of Saban. I plan to blog on Shula tomorrow before I leave for Thanksgiving.

    Mike,
We know it hit close to home we worked the Inner City after school care today and they knew every family that lost a child in some way. I am talking directly about the workers I was cooking with. April who works there had her nephew involved in the accident and was with the cole girl after the wreck. The other worker Judy’s daughter is in tech school with all of them. I am sure this is a long time healing to take place. I am sure survivors guilt will hit some of them. We will all lift them up in prayer and hopefully they have a church family who can be there and help them. You all be safe and eat lots.

Laura, sounds like you’re in a position to directly help some of those affected and bless you for it. Take good care of them.

We will be safe, but I pledge to eat moderately-sized and healthy portions only!
