I don’t know, with such low expectations at USC, not to mention the great golf, why would he want to step into this pressure cooker?
As for the “traitor,” he did finally manage to beat his archrival this time. It seems that’s the key to longevity just about everywhere you go.

Spurrier likes pressure, and according to some residents in T-Town the old ball coach has already payed a visit golfing with some of the Alabama boosters. talk on campus–> 10 years $33 million
Most big coaching moves, expecially in the SEC are denied up until the deal is made. I have a gut feeling that Spurrier will be getting himself a visor, with a big A on it for 2007.
