Pesonally, I think their 4-legged friend saved them as articles I read stated the pup laid on top of his owners to keep them warm.

We followed this one closely — my husband’s parents used to have a cabin on Mt. Hood, so he practically grew up skiing there. That makes it personal. As you said, good to see a rescue and not a recovery.
