Come to think of it, it sure is hot down here in Alabama.

    True story: My Dad, an upstanding citizen and elder in the church, used to turn up the radio when that Ray Stevens song came on. Sometimes he would sing along too.

    Now you know where I get it from. The eyeball doesn’t fall far from the socket.

    The heat index was 106 degrees today. Top that.

    The ultimate authority that is the weather channel at http://www.weather.com says it was 100 degrees w/a 107 heat index. So not any better here in LR, AR. (I just meant in case you decided to take any cues from our Catholic brother St. Streak!)

    They’re forecasting 102/108 here for tomorrow!

    Of course, that doesn’t count the new black asphalt parking lot where I work. That’s off the charts.
